Recently traded my 95 Sunbird Corsair 180SL runabout for a 97 Mustang, the guy I traded with said he screwed the ECC up by putting a Diablo mod chip in it so he bought one off eBay which didn't work. Huh go figure ,,then one off  Rock Auto which also didn't work so I have 3 ECC,s with the car
  One of them will start the car then shut down after about 2 seconds,has a friend slap a diagnostics on it and he said it's going into security which makes sense ,,new computer old keys,, never been programmed So I got Destin lock smithing to come out and program it, his diagnostics wouldn't even talk to it so he couldn't program the ECC to the new set of keys he made me $120.00 so far
  Then as he was packing up his stuff I tried to show him it would run for 2seconds when I realized the battery was stone cold dead. He didn't say anything just took the &65.00 service fee and left.
 I think this is why he couldn't talk to it but not sure I think I could of had enough juice to communicate.  To put this thing to rest as cheap as possible I. Wondering if Butlers has an EEC for a 97 Mustang 4.7 manual 5 speed WITH the ignition switch and keys so I don't have to program the dang thing???
